Why I Started Modz Learning Labs
After more than thirteen years in the classroom, I noticed something that changed the way I think about learning.
The moments my students remembered were not the worksheets or lectures. They were the moments they built something, solved a challenge together, asked thoughtful questions, and discovered they were capable of more than they imagined.
I wanted to create a place where children could experience that kind of learning every week.
Modz Learning Labs was created to give homeschool families a place where curiosity is encouraged, creativity is celebrated, and learning feels like an adventure.
Every class is intentionally designed to help children build confidence while developing critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills they will use for years to come.
I do not just want children to remember what they learned. I want them to remember how learning made them feel.

My role is not simply to teach information. It is to create experiences that help children become confident thinkers who enjoy learning long after class is over.
